I joined the Primera Law Group to help advance the rights of workers, individuals with marginalized identities, and those who have been denied equitable treatment, whether at work or in the course of their daily lives. It is an honor to take on this fight. Everyone deserves to be treated fairly, and everyone deserves to be heard without fear of retaliation.

Ashton is a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School and is passionate about representing underserved individuals from all walks of life. From a young age, Ashton's goal has been to represent clients during the most important fights of their lives as an honorable, diligent, and reliable litigator.

While in law school, Ashton sharpened his writing skills as a member of the University of Colorado Law Review and continued his passion for litigation as a member and external chair of the law school’s moot court team. He was also recognized for completing the public service pledge by volunteering 150 hours of pro bono work during his time at the University of Colorado.

As a law clerk for a plaintiff’s personal injury firm, Ashton drafted numerous court pleadings and memoranda, and took on varied and complex research assignments to meet the needs of personal injury victims facing the overwhelming pressure of well-seasoned and resourced insurance companies. Ashton has also served as a student attorney for the Civil Practice Clinic where he helped represent and achieve positive outcomes for indigent clients who had suffered adverse employment actions. Further, Ashton has worked both for the Colorado State University Office of the General Counsel and the 18th Judicial District Court as a judicial extern. Through this varied experience, Ashton honed his expertise and skills in legal research, writing and advocacy.

In his free time, Ashton enjoys exploring the Colorado outdoors while hiking 14ers, kayaking with his fiancé and their two dogs, and camping across the state. He is also an avid white board collector and reader of ancient history.
